It happened to us too. That's why Ecuafolk exists.
We hadn't planned on opening a shop or anything like that at first, but one day we said, "That's enough, if nobody else is doing it, then we'll do it ourselves." And that's how it all started.
What is Ecuafolk and why did we create it?
Ecuafolk isn't a mega-corporation or anything like that. We're Ecuadorians living in the U.S., just like you, who one day got tired of not finding those products that make you feel at home. The typical things you look for: panela, ají, an Andean poncho, you name it. Nothing was available… or if it was, it was ridiculously expensive or didn't taste the same as usual.
So we started bringing things back for ourselves and our friends. And without realizing it, things just kept growing. Today we have an online store, we work directly with producers in Ecuador, and we ship all over the United States.
But we're still here for you. We'll answer your emails ourselves, without robots or endless forms.
